ARTS
Their aim is to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of the fashion and textiles industry, and to work with our communities in Renfrewshire to deliver practical solutions and share positive steps to reduce these impacts.
Outspoken Arts Scotland features year round and seasonal work by artists and communities with the protected characteristics. As a diverse community of arts activists we are currently interested in work which references cutting edge social issues such as creative learning for young and vulnerable people, stories of migration and asylum, issues affecting LGBT people, disability, ethnicity, creative ageing and social health and well-being. We focus on the development of new voices and emergent talent and explores stereotypes in the contemporary arts. We create genuine professional opportunities for the work of our artists and communities to be enjoyed by wider audiences across Scotland.
A multi-award winning socially engaged charity that brings artists and the community together in a collaborative, creative way using art & film based in Inverclyde. We design and deliver a dynamic programme of visual arts and film projects, workshops, training opportunities, exhibitions, public artworks, community spaces and events. RIG Arts use creativity to work with people to affect change in Urban Regeneration, Climate Challenge, Heritage, Mental Health and it helps young people with Autism to build better social & communication skills. We work with local community groups, other third sector organisations, local authorities and the general public.
Scope is a public showcase, pop-up shop/gallery highlighting the work of Renfrewshire local Creatives.
